Antique Burroughs Adding Machine. Shipped with USPS Parcel Select Ground. This is a very heavy fairly large heavy machine quite old as well. Two of the number 2 buttons are missing as you can see. Also the number 3 and 4 on the left side of the unit are slightly bent and don't always come up when the other buttons in the row are pushed this could be fixed by mildly and bending those buttons which could be easily done. Other than that the thing operates perfectly as far as I can tell. For the most part they all push and operate appropriately with a few exceptions of the bent ones. This is a very cool steam punk style piece of artwork display or with a little TLC one could get it in working condition and actually use the machine for adding if one wished to. The adding machine appears to be of cast steel or iron very high quality with a nice black enamel original paint on it measuring about 20" long by about 10" wide and about 10" tall at its highest part. Like I said the only exception to its functionality are the 2 missing buttons and a couple of the bent buttons which there appear to be about 2 of those. Down in the number area. I'm not sure the model or the year of this adding machine but maybe someone based on these stamped serial number or the style could figure it out. The machine itself could use a bit of the cleaning as it has been in storage for decades. But there is no major rest or defecks other than the ones that were mentioned and the minor cosmetic ones just due to the age of the unit ultimately a very cool looking piece. Please see pictures for full details and feel free to ask. The unit probably weighs close to 35 pounds. I do know that this was used at the railroads when they were building them here in Oregon.
