Antique Vintage LITTLE GIANT ADDING MACHINE 1928, early pre-technology, business
Offered here is a wonderful keepsake that has been living among our grandfather’s office possessions…for the past
NINTY THREE YEARS!!!
Poppy is long gone but we believe that this Little Giant Adding Machine sat on the counter of his old candy store back in
1928
or so.  This “machine” is a true wooden antique.  The body is made of mahogany and is dovetailed together (no screws).  Of course after almost a CENTURY, there are a few worn spots but nothing major! Checkout the photos to inspect. The “inner workings” and dials are metal.  The keys (or wheels) are all operational.  This adding machine is shaped to look like a cash register and weighs about 1 ½ pounds.  It is about 6” tall by 5 ½” wide…and cool as can be!  It always attracted us as young kids.  We have not cleaned it up in anyway in fear of losing historic value.  We have many other mementos that we are holding on to but are letting this particular item go.  It really belongs in the hands of someone who wants to have a piece of pre-technology history.
