The Kwikset 83260 SmartKey Reset Cradle works with all SmartKey locks. It's an extremely handy tool used to reset the key cylinder to learn a new key. The reset cradle is great for landlords and locations where there is a high key turnover. To use the reset cradle, you simply remove the lock form the door, remove the SmartKey cylinder plug, insert it into the reset cradle, and it's all taken care of. The reset cradle is not only a great tool, but a great investment!
