This is a completely rebuilt engine from a 2000 RX. It is the 951c.c. carbureted engine, also known as the 947. This engine is different from the DI (or fuel injected motor) and will not work in a ski that uses a DI motor. This will work in all Sea-doo watercraft and jet boats that use this engine type. The motor has been completely rebuilt with all NEW parts! Starting at the top, the cylinders were bored oversize to ensure a proper clearance for the new pistons and rings. The crankshaft has been replaced with a New assembly, not a rebuilt unit. The counter balance shaft was rebuilt with new bearings and seals. The engine was then assembled with new gaskets, seals, and bearings. Once completed it was painted the factory silver color. The engine comes with all of the gaskets needed to install it into your ski, as well as a new set of spark plugs.
This auction works on an exchange basis. I do require that you bring me your old engine as a core. If you don't have a good core 0.00 will be added to the cost of the engine. Any damage to the engine out of the norm will have the cost to repair/replace the damaged parts added to the price of the new engine. I know the crank will be bad, and the pistons probably junk, this is normal. Holes or cracks in the cases/cylinders/head, cylinders bored to 1m.m. oversize or more, broken bolts, missing parts, things like this are not normal!
