VINTAGE DELLA ROBIA GLASS BASKET WITH WICKER HANDLE UNMARKED. Unmarked. This basket is large and heavy..3 pounds. It is approximately 10” long, 9” wide and about 4.5” high. With the handle up it is about 9.5” tall. The colors have faded on the fruit, but you can still see the lilac grapes, green leaves and orange oranges. The strawberries have become a lovely bright rose color. I think this color is fused, because you can’t scratch it off like you can on “flashed” glass. It is so disappointing to see all that color go down the drain, when you don’t realize it is “flashed” glass. There is a toothpick pointing to an old chip that has been smoothed out over time and use. It is in great vintage condition no chips or cracks, with only a few problems and I will take photos of every one these places so you don’t get any surprises.
