Here we have
an ever-so-sweet young boy trying so hard to fill the oversized shoes (and hat and apron and shirt, too!) of an adult chef. From the back, you can tell that he's got no pants -- too cute. This little guy is actually quite big, as well as heavy and made up of high-quality composite or resin material,
not
just some cheap, lightweight plastic that will blow over at the slightest breeze. He's made to charm your guests as well as to stand up to heavy-duty commercial use as a restaurant prop. And ... He has real shoe strings, as well as a real rattan basket, with a substantial lid that flips down to convert to a chalkboard "Specialties" sign with room for you to write. (Photos show the lid both up and down.) Weighs approximately 28 pounds.
Due to weight and Pandemic Restrictions, this piece is being offered pick-up/drop-off only in an open-air, public spot on the North side of Chicagoland.

If you zoom in on the photos and examine them carefully, you'll see the piece from all angles and get the best idea of what it actually looks like.
Fresh, colorful, bright and very clean, in overall excellent pre-owned condition, with no funky odors and no greasy kitchen residue or smoke issues. Will arrive ready to display, nearly as good as new. Overall light wear, with two condition issues of significance: (1) a thin dark mark across the left cheek, which we've made no attempt to remove. Not a scratch, but something left on the surface so it may well be removable. (2) O
ne small chip that is highlighted in the last photo. You have to be inspecting it close-up to see it, so it has little impact on the piece's appearance.
The base is solid and stable, with no wobbles.
We consider funky odors (cigarette smoke, mildew, etc) to be an important part of a condition report.
